Jib Cranes
Aluminium Jib – Altrac
Altrac jib cranes are available as either freestanding or wall-mounted models. A Bomac workstation jib offers a smaller scope than a gantry crane but is an ideal solution for repetitive, stationary tasks—such as stacking objects onto pallets or loading material into a machine.
WHICH JIB DO I NEED?
- A wall-mounted jib is a cost-effective option when coverage is required next to a load-bearing wall or pillar.
- A freestanding jib is the better choice when operating on the factory floor or where surrounding walls cannot carry the additional load. In this case, the arm is mounted to a steel pillar, secured to a concrete floor with mechanical or chemical anchors.
